who we are

Welcome to the Davidson County Democratic Party. The tradition and foundation of the Democratic Party are rooted here in the soil of Middle Tennessee. President Andrew Jackson founded and was the first President to represent the modern Democratic Party. We stand firm on that history and have worked to expand the Democratic tradition to include all Davidson County citizens. We welcome all who want to join with others to work for a better future.

Our democracy depends on an informed and active citizenry and our website helps make that happen. We provide crucial information on voting, news about your community, and links to your elected officials. We hope you'll stay and take a look around. We hope you'll then join the Party, as we draw on the best of our heritage to build the brightest tomorrow for everyone.
